Heritage Steam Service To Clogwyn
Services for Clogwyn will operate for 2 weeks from October 5th 2026.
Please read the information below before making a booking
Included with every booking is an official souvenir guidebook, worth £7. This will be given to you when collecting your tickets.
Unfortunately, wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on our Heritage Steam Service. Please call us on 01286 870 223 to book our Traditional Diesel Service, which is wheelchair accessible.
Please note, we only accept assistance animals. Please call to book.
Experience Duration
- Total duration: 3 hours (including the 1-hour pre-arrival time)
- Important - Please arrive 1 hour before your train departure time to allow enough time to park, collect your tickets from the Ticket Office, watch the cinema presentation, and use the toilet facilities. Please note that there are no toilets on the train. The only opportunity to use the facilities is before entering the cinema.
- Return Tickets Duration: 45 mins up, 30 minutes at Clogwyn Station, 45 mins back down to Llanberis Station
- Single Tickets are not available for our Heritage Steam Service
FAQs
- Tickets are only valid for the booked departure time and are non-transferable.
- Only assistance animals are permitted on our trains. Due to the design of our heritage carriages, we are unable to accommodate other animals. If you need to travel with an assistance animal, please contact us directly to book.
- Walking from Clogwyn Station to the Summit and back is unfortunately not possible. The round trip takes longer than train schedule permits and as trains are typically full, you are unable to transfer on to a different train.
