Traditional Diesel Service To The Summit

Experience Duration
- Total duration: 3.5 hours (including the 1 hour pre arrival time)
- Important - Please arrive 1 hour before your train departure time to allow enough time to park, collect your tickets from the Ticket Office, watch the cinema presentation, and use the toilet facilities. Please note that there are no toilets on the train. The only opportunity to use the facilities is before entering the cinema.
- Return Tickets Duration: 1 hour up, 30 minutes at the summit, 1 hour back down to Llanberis Station
Single Ticket Duration
- Total time: 2 hours (please arrive 1 hour before your train departure time)
- Journey: 1 hour up to the summit
- Single tickets are available for the upward journey only. Downward tickets cannot be pre-booked and must be purchased at the summit ticket office on a first-come, first-served basis. This policy ensures that in the event of an emergency or mechanical issue, no passengers are left stranded at the summit without a return option.
