Traditional Diesel Service To Three-Quarter Platform
Please read before booking
Available from 24th March - 30th April 2027
Due to weather conditions at the Summit, our trains usually operate to a platform three-quarters of the way up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), between March and the end of April. If mild weather conditions allow us to resume Summit services before 1 May, we’ll contact you directly to let you know. An additional fare per person will apply to upgrade your ticket. Please note that once Summit services commence, trains can no longer stop at our Three-Quarter Platform, and the Summit will be the only destination available.
If a member of your party uses a wheelchair, please call us to book your journey.
Please note, we only accept assistance animals. Should you have an assistance animal, please call us directly to make a booking.
Experience Duration
- Total duration: 3 hours (including the 1-hour pre-arrival time)
- Important - Please arrive 1 hour before your train departure time to allow enough time to park, collect your tickets from the Ticket Office, watch the cinema presentation, and use the toilet facilities. Please note that there are no toilets on the train or at Clogwyn station. The only opportunity to use the facilities is before entering the cinema.
- Return Tickets Duration: 45 mins up, 30 minutes at Three-Quarter Platform, 45 mins back down to Llanberis Station

FAQs
